Member Area Videos

Hi,

I appreciate that the member area videos and manuals can be downloaded and distributed to affiliate - are there or will there be versions of the videos that I can host on my own server for viewing by my affiliates?

Since the videos are in FLV format and you're allowed to distribute the member area videos (but not the master area videos) to your affiliates, I don't see why you couldn't host those videos as-is for your affiliates to view online. You'd just need a player to embed on your pages, there are plenty of Flash FLV players available (some are even free).

Yes, I can technically do it without problems either through my Contepass (TM) systems and/or as a remote membership added (I use video web wizard) as a default for all my users - just want to make sure I am allowed to :o

Yeah, good point.. I'm not too sure since the closest thing I've seen to a "license" for those videos simply says that we can distribute them to our affiliates. Without further explanation I'd assume that if it's ok to allow your affiliates to download them from your server, it should also be ok to stream them from your server.. but it's probably best to get something more "official"

Hi Rod,

I don't mind the link but I think the mods might - probably best to edit it out.

As far as that site goes, it is just a sample site that I setup using a template and a nicer looking authorization script.

Hi Rod,

John sent an e-mail out about some templates for Delavo yesterday.

That template I am using is one I got through the Turbo Big Bang promotion last year.

The nicer looking authorization script I have problems telling you about as I already had my wrists slapped (rightly so) for posting links or suggestions :o

You cannot stream the videos or post the manuals on your site UNLESS
they are in a protected folder that requires a password to access.

REASON: While you are not paying for these, they are not a free product.
And are to only be given to your affiliates and/or customers, not made
available to the general public. Not protecting these videos and manuals
may result in your license being revoked.

I wanted to post an article about the book with a link to the newsletter where they can get the password for the blog.

1) As it is stated in this thread the answer is no,
this information is for your customers and affiliates only.
This is to help them using your system.

2) There's no interest, nor real value as a bonus in these
videos and manuals per se. Why would someone be interested
in that and signup for your newsletter to get them?
Again, these are only procedures explained for your customers
and affiliates to uses you system. NO real market value otherwise.
