Hi all!

I am trying to install Delavo TM on my Deluxe Linux hosting account, provided by Godaddy, in a subfolder.
When I try to run
http://****.com/ecomm/delavo-install.cgi , I am getting the same Internal Server Error as many of you did.
I have uploaded my files (delavo-install.cgi, delavo-install.zip, delavo-jin.par) in binary mode.
I have set the properties for all of these files to 755.
I have checked my .htaccess files - there are no any neither in the /ecomm folder, nor above it, in the root.

My cgi error log says the following:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Thu Jun 4 03:32:24 2009] [error] [client 80.99.21.60] Premature end of script headers: /var/chroot/home/content/*****/html/ecomm/delavo-install.cgi

BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /home/content/*****/html/ecomm/delavo-install.cgi line 5.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can you suggest me what should I do to be able to run that cgi and install Delavo?

Thanks a bunch!

PS.
The exact error message I keep getting is:

"Internal Server Error

Hi Donna,
Thanks for replying.

No, I have uploaded them into the http://****.com/ecomm/ directory, because I want it to be reachable through the subdomain http://ecomm.****.com/delavo-install.cgi

But, unfortunately, I get the same Internal Server Error also, when I try to run it using the subdomain name (http://ecomm.****.com/delavo-install.cgi)

According to the install manual it is possible to install delavo on an addon domain. My addon domain is http://ecomm.****.com subdomain, and I have uploaded the files into the root folder of my addon domain (subdomain), which is the /ecomm/ folder.

Hi Agnes,

There is no reason to PM anybody, all you need to do is call you host and make sure all the settings are correct, and the servers are correctly configured. I found it took no time and they are very helpful, it also means you can take care of it yourself in the future if you need to.

Just ask again if you need to,

Cheers,

Susie

Thank you all for your replies.
I guess yes, that is what I will do: contact the host (again). I have already contacted them once and they said I should purchase the Deluxe hosting plan. I did, but it seems that my problems didn't get solved with that.

Susie, just one question: do you also have a godaddy hosting account? If yes, were you able to install your Delavo on that? If yes, what kind of hosting plan did you purchase? I am asking these in order to know what to ask them.

YIKES!! If you're on godday hosting I strongly suggest you do not try to operate your Delavo from there. Unless you like to go through nightmarish hops ;D

In fact I'd not suggest anyone to host there for business really, unless you just want a business card simple static page site.

On a good host this installation should be a snap, not a challenge at all.

Andre Foisy
