View Full Version : Setting up a clickbank product?

I followed the instructions for adding clickbank as a payment processor in the video, but how do I go about adding my product to clickbank and integrating it with Delavo?
Where should the thank you page point, for example?
Or is Delavo only designed to use clickbank as a payment processor? Surely there is a way to set up my product in clickbank, point the thank you page back to my delavo install and allow the customer to download their purchase, right?
Any clarity is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Cameron

Hi Cameron,
When you go to Profile/Payment Option and either setup a new record or edit an existing record for Clickbank - there is a clickable link that tells you how to set it up.

Yes, I understand that and I have followed those instructions present on the screen and also in the video for setting up payment.
My actual question is how do I actually link my clickbank product to delavo? What should my "thank you" page connect to in delavo, for example?
I set my thank you page to my delavo default installation page and ran a test transaction. The page I ended up on at my site could not be loaded.
Is there another tutorial somewhere that I am missing?

Hi Cameron,
The sales page needs to have the Delavo order link in it - once the customer reaches Delavo then goes through the process of buying and providing the correct return is set in your Clickbank product record - it will return them to a Delavo thank you page.
As a possible problem - the product record needs to have the Clickbank ID number for the product.

What I need to know is what do I set as my Delavo thank you page within the clickbank product setup? I have verified that everything that is in the tutorials & help is correct as far as hoplink target url, item number, etc.
Thanks,
Cameron

Hi Cameron,
The information for the return url is in the Delavo/Clickbank record edit/setup, I copy it here.

Thanks Brian, I think there may be a probelm with the return url then...
Using that URL as the "Hoplink target url" AND the "Thank You Page" URL (which are in two different places in clickbank), I get a 500 internal server error after doing a test transaction. In fact, I get that error if I just try to load the page all on its own. Everything else in delavo seems to work fine so far.
Any thoughts on that error?
Thanks,
Cameron

Hi Camerson,
The above is only for the return URL - the "Hoplink target url" should now lead from your sales page to Delavo using the link for the package order link for a package.
Sales Page -> Delavo Order Link - Delavo Order Pages -> Clickbank -> Process Payment -> Delavo Thank You Page.
There is no "Hoplink target url" as trditionaly used.

So do we need to post a dummy thank you page to get our product approved, then once it is approved we can then change over to the delavo link?
That is where I am confused.
a
If I use the supplied delavo link for my thank you page I get that
"Invalid parameters were passed to the script. If you think this is an error, please contact the administrator.
The Sale is demo or fraud"
Thank you,
Sam
