Sales are not recorded, but users are recorded

Hello all, I'm new here to delavo and I'm trying it out now. I have watched all the videos and read the manuals, don't know what I'm missing here. Here's what I've done:

1. Create an affiliate group.
2. Set up a payment method (an offline one).
3. Add a product.
4. Add the product to a package.
5. Sign up as an affiliate (using my other email).
6. Get the affiliate link.
7. I tried to purchase the product (using another email) through the affiliate link.
8. I was taken to the first order page where the product was checked.
9. I entered the email address and click "Proceed to checkout" button.
10. In the Billing Information, I enter the first name and last name.
11. In the Payment information, I select the offline method I created on step 2 above and click "Pay now!" button, and I see the message I set up when I set up the offline payment option.

The problem I face, in the admin area I can see the new user, but there are no sales. There are also no sales referred by the affiliate.

I tried:
- ordering from the homepage
- ordering straight from order link
- using no affiliate
but the result is the same.

What am I missing here?

With an offline payment, you need to manually mark the sale as paid. This
is because you won't send the product until you receive payment.

To mark sale as paid, goe to customer/sales. In the search box, tick the
box that says Display only UNPAID sales then click on the search button.
Only unpaid sales will display in the list. Find the order, tick the box in
front of the order and mark as paid (from drop down menu).
