When creating a product, there is the opportunity to set the pricing as a subscription at the bottom of the page.

I can choose to either "Initiate Subscription" or "Initiate Subscription internally in DELAVO".

Can someone explain the difference to me?

Thanks,
Paula.

Hi Paula,

Generally:

Initiate Subscription deals with Online Retailers that can inform Delavo directly of a payment or cancellation.

Initiate Subscription In Delavo - deals with Online Retailers that cannot.

Thanks for the explanation Brian :)

So just to clarify...

If I "Initiate Subscription internally in DELAVO" using Clickbank for a monthly subscription for example. Then each month DELAVO will process a new Clickbank purchase for the subscription amount automatically?

Thanks again,
Paula.

Hi Paula,

Strictly speaking, the subscription will be created by the customer at Clickbank through Delavo and Clickbank will process the recurring subsciption not Delavo.

So what happens if someone cancels their subscription at Clickbank...will they still have access to the membership in Delavo?

Essentially they would stop paying...however they would still have access to all content then?
