Roles plugin

Hello,

I purchased the roles plugin.

This is what is stated on the sales page...

"DELAVO PLUGIN - Roles
The plugin allows you to offer hosted DELAVO accounts either free or for a fee. Get it ONLY if you want to create a Business by offering hosted DELAVO accounts."

What I want to know is - can I create a membership site in which part of what I charge for is a Delavo account? Can I sell the plugins as well?

Hi Russ,

Yes you can create a membership site - I will try to find out the latest pricing guidelines.

You cannot sell the plugins (they are all registered to your Delavo installation and you need to be an authorized dealer to sell them) - you can enable or disable the facility of the plugin being made available to your hosted account customers through their hosted account with you and enable them for a price.

The current pricing guidlines for a hosted account are:

$27 - $97 spread over 5 price points - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Enterprise for example.

So if you were to sell a membership that contains 1 component of a hosted account it is suggested that you would match the hosted account above with the price you charge for the membership site.

So am I understanding this right. Would this be a type of setup
that you are suggesting:

Bronze = basic Delavo (plus my own content) for $27 per month
Silver = bronze +1 plugin for $37
Gold = bronze +2 plugins for $47
Platinum = bronze +3 plugin for $67
Enterprise = bronze +4 plugin for $97 per month

or something like that? Of course accompanying the delavo and plugins
would be my own materials.

Hi Russ,

I personally am not suggesting what to do for your prospective business model, a good place to start would probably be to research what is already available out there from existing Delavo hosted account suppliers but not necessarily copy what they are doing but to differentiate based on your anticipated target market.

I guess mostly I just wanted to make sure I could do it as my 'roles' plugin came with no documentation and I didn't want to break any license agreement.
