Hi,
I installed the abelling plugin like the other modules.
Bur i can't find any "Label" or "labelling" functionality inside my Delavo.
How to call / use this plugin?

Hi Michael,
You have to enable it first through your Profile/Other Settings (that one got me too).

Since this thread is about this plugin I shall ask here instead of starting a new one.
Where in the roles is the label plugin to activate?
Or is this a given to all hosted accounts?
Or I am just blind :)
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
It would appear to give the access to hosted accounts automatically (unless I too am blind).
The hosted account customer must also enable it through their Profile/Other Settings.

Hi,
I activated the labeling plugin on a hosted account. I got strange messages when I clicked on the [L] after a package says: "Sorry, but the action you requested cannot be completed at this time because of a technical problem. We apologize for the inconvenience". And then underneath there is a lot of code.
So I went into my main account and saw I hadn't activated the plugin there uder 'Other Settings'. So I activated and did a test in 'Packages'. Made a few test labels and it worked just fine.
So ... I loged out and went back into the hosted account to see if it would work there. And to my surprise it did, only ... it doesn't show the labels from the hosted acccount but the test labels from my main/admin account when I click the [L].
When I click the OK I get the above error message again.
Anyone have a clue?

I tested on a hosted account and labeling shows what ever the Admin has set up.
The hosted account can add labels, but they don't work..

Hi Brian,
In other words this is a bug?
If I interpret your answer the right way the admin is the Delavo owner. Whatever labels he creates show up in the hosted account (that's what is happening to me).
So if you have hosted accounts you can't use the labeling plugin unless you want to confront your clients with your personal labels.
Is that what you're saying?

Hi Theo,
It may be a bug, I would have thought that each hosted account could be able to create their own labels rather than have to use the admin labels - I have no way of knowing what was in the design brief unfortunately.
I will test it over the weekend and see.

I'm not sure that this is accurate; but, I think that in order for the master to allow hosted accounts to actually use the label plug-in, the master first has to decide which hosted account levels should have access to it; then the master has to modify the Role(s) for that level by adding the label permission to each Role that should have the access.
That is basically how you allow access to any plug-in to your hosted account users.

John,
Label is not in the roles..It's in Profile>Other Setting and is checked..for ALL
