If you want to show us your install,
even if you haven't "added" anything
to it, why not post is as a reply to
this thread...
Here's mine...

So far, I have mine installed, but working on uploads and the such.
You can see my install here:
http://digitalproduct.net/x
By the way - anyone know if we can change the logo? I went through the
TOS and did not see anything about not being able to. I also found where
the logos are residing and the header and footer are .jpg's, so I don't think
there would be a problem changing these...

I installed my first product. Seems to run smoothly. I set it as a Free
product, then with an option to purchase PLR once you get to the
order page, with a limit of 50 PLR licenses. All seems to work great
- 'cept I have not tried to purchase from me'self : )
Thought it was going to be a major problem, not having using
Fantasos and not very lucky with JVM 1 - once I understood how
things worked, it went great!

Hi,
I like the idea of showing my install off, and I will when I can complete it.
Now this is going to sound SO STUPID. And I really apologise up front ... I've watched the video and read the Manual - I've got my ID and passwrd therefore.
What I dont have are the actual files! Where does the Installation Kit come from??
Cheers,
Peter

Peter, installation kit gets uploaded to your account via FTP from another server.

I would but can't seem to get it to install. Even though I follow all instructions written and video, I get to the install page, put my info, I get the link and click, but the next screen gives me a message that I don't have permission and I'm unauthorized. All required 755 permissions were set, but still no luck! Trying to troubleshoot.

Scott,
If your hoster is Hostgator, you've got to raise a ticket to them and ask them to whitelist your domain name and install directory. They will do it for you, they did it for me and at least 100 others today.
So don't waste your time trouble shooting just raise a ticket with your hosting provider, tell them the script is delavo and where you have installed it.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Janet
p.s. and just to quantify my reply - my hosting account - hostgator - my domain where this delavo installation is in it's raw butt naked beauty is

Thanks hostgator and thanks John

That looks good ! Nice to see that it's possible to change the graphics.
I have not had the time to install my script yet, so nice to see that it

I've now got two versions running. :o
One is an upgrade to my Fantasos installation (all the bells and whistles & a modified template activated)
http://Profit-Tools.com/central
The other is my free Delavo, straight out of the box (and about to get the Fantasos plugin treatment - just selling stuff to give me the last $300 I need!)

Love it ;D

Hello Diane,
I also went to your main site at guru web tools and noticed that your
picture (I assume it's you as it stated Photo, Diane Zidek) was blank
i.e. there was a red x in it's place. The size looked correct though.
I am simply assuming, but may chance that you need to put the full
path to your image (http:// yoursite.com / images / imagename.jpg)
or just images/imagename.jpg - as I have seen instances like this where
people use a relative?? path instead of the url - or you have the same
problem with the uppercase D in your link above in the link?
Not for sure though, just wanting to let you know your pic was
not showing : )

Robert,
Yes I have to fix that - I just threw up an old index file I had to put something there as
I was reading that in the install manual. I just put something there as a placeholder really,
but I need to fix it - thanks for reminding me!

Diane your link leads us to a 404 page...
Not very kind of you :D
Btw, you can see how Hostgator "STEALS" from YOUR traffic, by
freely advertising and potentially getting clients without paying you.
In fact you pay to to host AND advertise them, nice business model ;D
As soon as they started this a few years ago, as soon I got out of
there. It's a good idea to always make sure your links are working if
one hosts there.
Best regards,
Andre Foisy
