Hi Diane,
It is and don't bother this one time for the initial installaton with the upgrade script (unless you are upgrading from Fantasos (TM)).

Everytime i go to install this is what i get i have installed correctly i know...does anyone have a suggestion???
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

First off - who do you host with? There have been a few problems with
Hostgator within the .htaccess. This is not what it sounds like right off,
but that does not mean there are problems from the host.
I would also check to see if your host fulfills the requirements to run
the script. You can find those here:
http://delavo.com/news/faq/
If you know how check your error logs from your host to see if it
was the script that produced the error, and if so post them here so
others may be able to help.
There were also a couple of instances where members had a corrupt
download. I would try re-downloading the script and starting from a
fresh install.

FYI: I just had startlogic go over everything and this is what they sent back to me:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Technical Support.
With regard to the your issues with the cgi script. I took a look over the account and made a few changes. I then tested to make sure CGI scripts worked by creating a test script. The other script that is failing seems to be failing because of a problem with the code. I suggest you have the person who made it look it over and make sure it is setup correctly for access via a web browser.

David, it might be best to log a ticket at http://turbohelpdesk.com/ and
supply them with your name and license number, as well as cpanel login
info and ftp login info. This way someone from support can get on there
and see if anything is the matter.
Another suggestion is look for another hosting company. This might
alleviate any other problems that you may have as well with other scripts
that you may get in the future. I don't recommend any host, as I have
had problems with many of them. I am happy where I am and have not
had any troubles with any type of script I have installed to date.
But first, I would see if support could help out since the tech guys seem
to think it is the script.
You also might try to address tech support at your host with what is
happening with Hostgator and the problems people are having there
with the mod_security setting...you can see more posts about this
subject on the forum elsewhere.

I also had an issue with the install but mine is due to the fact that my host does not have Archive::Zip qw installed as well as Zlib.pm. the have Archive::Tar pm instead. they do not plan on installing them anytime soon. that would be ipower hosting.
