I have two questions on delavo:
1) How to implement google checkout recurring billing in delavo?
2) Are we allowed to write our own plugins for delavo?
Thanks

Hi Maxim,
There are full instructions inside Delavo for Google Checkout when you want to setup the payment gate under profile/payment options.
I recently saw a post in the Fantasos forum about new plugins which would suggest that you should contact Matt at the helpdesk for the development of a new plugin.

Thanks Brian,
I checked out google checkout instructions but they don't say anything about recurring payments.
And when I add google check out to a recurring products, it seems to make only 1 charge. It doesn't create recurring subscription like paypal.

Hi Maxim,
I just had a look at Google Checkout and they want me to supply some documents before I open an account so it won't be a quick solution.
From what I have checked out so far - Google does not themselves have the same type of system as Paypal for user subscriptions which is why I suppose that an internal subscription needs to be setup in Delavo which in turn would suggest that there has to be a link between Delavo and Google to initiate a recurring payment in Delavo and for Google to to acknowledge that payment through a return mechanism.
When you say it doesn't create recurring subscription like paypal - where are you checking this?

Hi, Brian
On a Google check out page it does not say anything about the fact that this payment will start a subscription or anything like that.
I think I'll try to test it with a small amount to see if, like you said, delavo will initiate recurring charges on its own.

Here is an update on setting recurring subsriptions with google check out and authorize.net
1) Google check out.
Internal Delavo subscription setting did not help. Delavo sales page showed that new recurring payment was charged. But after checking google checkout account there was no second payment, nothing - no notes nor failed payments.
The assumption is that YOU CAN NOT SETUP RECURRING PAYMENTS IN DELAVO WITH GOOGLE CHECKOUT.
2) Authorize.net
In hosted delavo account (at use-sell.com) we have seized using authorize.net due to the fact that it was impossible to set it up through htpps and we had a lot of users complains that it was not secure. We used clickbank.
Now with delavo hosted on our server we have secure certificate and can use authorize.net
I set it up in test product, by checkmarking both: 1) initiate subscription 2) initiate subscription internally in delavo
I did a test purchase on a 7 day reccurring product.
in 7 day authorize.net charged my card for another payment however Delavo did not reflect that charge. There was no record for the second payment in delavo sales page whatsoever.
However the first payment says: (subscription - 1st installment). It also has transaction # AUTHNET-ARB-94-95 and subscription #4669308 (it does not have delavo subscription number like "jvmsub....."
What did I do wrong?

Hi Max,
I have moved this thread to a new sub-forum so that Mark Salter can help you out.
As I do not have a Google Checkout account or Authorize.net account, it really is best for someone who has these accounts to help you out.

Where can I get some clarifications on this?
Should I contact support?

Hi Max,
Support can only really help you with technical matters, how to's are handled here in the forum, Mark helped write the payment processing manuals so he IS the best person to help.

Hi Max
Matt only wrote the CB part of the manual so I don't think he can help
you with Google Checkout or Authorize.net.
Hopefully someone will answer your questions as I don't use either so I
can't help.
The help desk will not answer your questions. They will send you back
here so fon't even bother opening a ticket.
Also, PLEASE only post one issue per thread. Otherwise it gets too
confusing. So open another thread for plig-in questions and yet
another thread for autorize.net questions.

Hi Max,
I have successfully signed up for a Google Checkout account today and just need to verify my bank account when I can see the amounts charged and get my limit raised from 0.00.
I have tried testing but all it says is that my cart has sent invalid information so I will have to wait.
Other than that, the setup went smoothly except for 1 minor hiccup.
I do have https on my Delavo domain but I could not get the payment gate to save without being logged in through https
I see from your posts that you have actually gotten further than I have so far, I will check back again in a few days.

You need to use https with Google checkout. Doesn't work otherwise.

Concerning Google Checkout Subscription option, this is directly from the
Google page at
http://checkout.google.com/support/sell/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=63440
Integration options: Recurring charges and subscriptions
The ability to process recurring charges or subscriptions using our API is currently
available in beta. Subscriptions will allow you to charge customers on a regular
basis with out additional input from your customer. If you'd like to implement this
functionality, please view the integration tutorial in our
Developer's Guide Beta Features (http://code.google.com/apis/checkout/developer/Google_Checkout_Beta_Features.html) page.
Alternatively, you can process recurring charges by sending Google Checkout
email invoices (http://checkout.google.com/support/sell/bin/answer.py?answer=53026) to your buyers. To do this, you'll need to send an invoice to
initiate each billing recurrence manually.
So since this is in beta, I am not sure that the functionality has been built into
Delavo as of yet. When CB started accepting subscriptions,, Matt needed to
rewrite the code so I am sure it is the same for Google Checkout.
Also since this is still in beta, I will not write anything in the Payment Processor manual
about this procedure until it is released in its final form.

I'm sorry for being a little harsh in my last post.
It's just that this past 6 days were very stressful for me here.
One of my good friends has drown in the lake near my house and rescue team couldn't find him for 3 days.
I was trying to do some work just to isolate my brain from thinking about it and it didn't help much.
We are doing a fundraiser, you can read about it here:
http://www.paytory.com/fundraiser
And if you can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Once again, I'm sorry.

Hi Max,
A tragic loss for someone so young.
I have now confirmed my Google Checkout account but am receiving errors when I try to purchase anything.
"Oops!
(My Company Name) has sent Google a shopping cart with errors in it. We'll contact them to ask that they fix this problem. As this could be a temporary issue, you can go back in your browser to try checking out again."
Doesn't look like it should be in Beta at the moment - doesn't appear to work at all.
Tried a few times and I never get informed.

Hi Everyone.
Sorry for not responding, I have been away.
As Donna said, I have only done recurring billing in Clickbank and Paypal.
I will look at Google Checkout when they are out of Beta.
Regards
Mark
