Are you installing on the domain that you used to get your license with? That
should be the first step. You only get one license with this download.

Second, I would go to this page:

URL deleted by Mod REASON: Cannot post videos and manuals link to your post.

and there are tutorials there that should help you along the way (videos and
pdf manuals). You will need the password that was emailed to you from
John in the email with the subject line "Welcome DELAVO user!"

If that fails, and you are getting to the installation page and it is not
installing correctly, either repost in the forum, or contact support with what
type of issue you are having.

I am not for sure that this would be the way to do this but,

once you go to install the script, it asks you where you want
to install the script at (Default is Delavo). If you take the word
Delavo out and leave it blank, then it might install on the root
of your domain.

Not for sure, as I have not tried this yet...

I watched the video again and went through the manual, and each time it states
you need to fill in where you want to install the script.

Maybe you can't install it to your root? I don't know why it would not let you, or
why you would want it to be the root - as the root would/should/could be your
landing page to invite users to join, then send them to yourdomain.com/folder to
sign up instead of sending people straight to a signup form...

Anyways, anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Yup, maybe i can't install - never mind (just want to know), i created a new ticket on TurboHelp - thanks Robert for your helping!

but there are another problem when i install on directory >> www..com/jv -->

403 Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /jv/auth/login.html on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

How to solve this problem?

Fuh, i like this amazing script.... ;D

There has been an issue with some hosting accounts with the .htaccess file.

I don't know who you host with but Hostgator has had the most problems.

1&1 had an issue or two as well, but other hosts might be having the same
.htaccess problem as Hostgator. The problem was with the mod_rewrite
engine and all that groovy stuff.

Hopefully support can answer your questions : )

For the 403 error, if you're hosting with HostGator it's a mod_security issue and support will have to fix it for you. Post a ticket with HostGator's helpdesk or get in touch with their live chat support and they should straighten it out for you fairly quickly, they're aware of the issue and got it working for me in under 2 minutes.

As far as installing in the root of your domain, I haven't tried it myself so this is just a guess, but assuming your delavo-install.cgi is in the root of your domain (where the instructions say to put it) have you tried putting either "." or "/" (without the quotes) as the directory you want to install the script to? I could be wrong but I'd think one or the other should work.

Remember to set the correct file permissions - most errors disappear when you have the permissions set - its 755 for the three files

Hope that helps
