Clueless Newbie

I'm not a techie, but I'm trying to set up Delavo and have hit a brick wall.

I've got it installed in my DELAVO directory, it's working fine as a script, and I've got an index.htm page on the site. But my question is this: how do I make Delavo active on the main site?

In other words, are there basic storefront templates available that I can install to make a true sales site, or do I have to build the storefront in HTML? I'm obviously missing something major here...

Hi Randall,

Delavo does not run your site for you, it sits in the background as your customer manager, that takes the order, payment and delivers the download.

What you do before and after is up to you.

Brian, thanks for your help. So basically I need to set up the sales pages just as if I was using a conventional shopping cart, and then link the fields to Delavo. Is that correct?

Hi Randall,

In essence - yes that is correct - an accepted method would be to have an index page linking to your sales pages in sub-directories and then your sales page would link to Delavo (by using a package link that you get once you have created a product/package inside Delavo) and from there taking over to take the order (each package has a unique order link) get payment and deliver the goods.
