Have my Fantasos upgraded to DELAVO with 1.18 plus other add ins. Plus I also have one DELAVO license to activate.

Want to switch my original Fantasos/DELAVO license to a new domain. This would be my first transfer of the license to a different domain so no charge is involved.

Would I be better off the use my unactivated DELAVO license and transfer the 1.18 add ins and other add ins, or just transfer the whole license over and save the unused DELAVO license?

I'm not too worried about saving the data behind the old Fantasos/DELAVO installation. There's a lot there, but nothing that I can't do without. I just don't want to buy another 1.18 and the rest of the add ins. I can transfer the SQL database myself, (or at least I did it once before!) :)

Hi Deen,

Well that depends, have you considered that any links that you have out on your sites are pointing to your current Delavo domain - if you have used a link control system that re-directs then you of course can change the redirects to the new domain instead if not they would have to be changed in any and all sales pages.

Do you have affiliates that would need to be informed of your domain name change for Delavo?

Do you need all of the features of your 1.18 upgraded version?

If not, I would install your fresh copy of Delavo on the new domain and only use it for new products from now, if at a later date you decide to upgrade it if necessary, then you can get a 1.18 upgrade or buy plugins individually.

I personally would leave the current one where it is for at least 3 months while updating existing links to the new domain.

If you decide to move your existing Delavo and the existing links to the domain are not important, then make life easy on yourself and get the services team to do it for you, that way you will keep all your existing sales and customer info (as well as all of your product/package data etc.).

Me, personally, I would run both domains for some time together to judge what impact it will have on my business before doing anything.
