Hello
I installed Delavo, following the videos and set-up product/package and membership following the videos.
I have members buying memberships and still unable to log into membership area. I purchased a membership myself to see what was going on and sure enough, I was unable to log in using the data provided.
Please Helppppp.

Hi Richard,
Did you add the membership to the product record?
If not, use the Sales menu / Memberships to manually add your paid members (and yourself).

Yes, they have been added. A password is generated, but it does not seem to work. I go to the .paswrd file and it has an entirely different password. can't figure it out.

Hi Richard,
It is normal for the .htpasswd to store these passwords in an encrypted format.
You should be sure that the .htpasswd and .htaccess files are set to 666 permissions in order for Delavo to add new memberships to them.
Which hosting company are you using?

Hi Richard,
There are known issues with hostgator because of their very strict security settings.
The best advice I can give is to work with them (online) and advise them that they need to check your firewall settings (especially for owner permissions for a script to change directory and file permissions).
