Hi,
I uploaded the product via my Delavo and when I did a test check out and tried to download the product, it showed the following error:
It says, I should contact the server administrator, but I am not sure how I show tell them about, since it's specifically DELAVO related. Please advise.
Thanks,
Roy

Hi Roy,
In this case the server administrator was you (I have deleted the e-mail link).
Is this the first time you have experienced this error?

Hi Brian,
That's not the first time I had that error. I had that one before, but I got by it by using other method of delivery, e.g. uploading to a specific location and password protect the folder.
My server admin is very helpful, they have solved a lot of my concerns in the past, but when it comes to this one - I just don't know how to tell them what's going on, as it involved logging into the DELAVO script. Not sure if it's secure to share them the admin password and etc.
And I am not sure whether I should explain the DELAVO script uploading procedures to my admin for them to check against it - what's the next step to clear the errror.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Roy
P.S.I submitted the ticket to my webhost admin and their reply is as follows:

Hi Roy,
The only involvement with Derlavo when uploading a file is whether it has permissions from the server to do so.
If you are experiencing this and other errors, then I would suggest that your hosting account is not setup to allow Delavo to upload correctly or to create files and folders (for protected areas) - this usually happens because of something called owner permissions (i.e. whether you hosting account allows a script to do these things).
Unless you have a dedicated server, this is not something you can control but your host can.
The problem will not be solved by giving them access to your Delavo.
Lets start with the latest problem and upload your files using FTP instead and then in the download record you would match the url with where you uploaded using FTP - and use an encrypted link to deliver the product through Delavo.
Once you have that working (and there is no reason why it wouldn't) then depending on what your hosting support say to the information above regarding owner permissions - will depend on what else you can do to protect your download or membership areas.

Hi Roy,
I have deleted your most recent post, please do not post your links in the body of an e-mail - I did read it first however.
You are having some major problems with that hosting account, given my experience with different hosting companies (many) - I would recommend hosting that works with this script, of the thousands of installation of Delavo, unless something is very wrong with the version you downloaded and susequently installed - there are no problems for these thousands of owners.

Hi Roy,
I have now carefully gone through the links that you posted, what is a .wpl file?
My system is trying to open it with Windows Media player.
This "may" be the source of your problem, have you tried to put the file inside a .zip archive and deliver the download that way?
It is possible that Delavo does not recognize a file with the extension of .wpl and is therefore not allowing a correct download.

Hi Brian,
After several attempts, my webhost has resolved the issue and is working fine. Please see attached - their response.
Thanks for your kind assistance.
Cheers

Hi Roy,
I have fixed the problem. The folder dlv_download had corrupted attributes which caused the internal server error. I moved the original dlv_download and then recreated the folder dlv_download and copied the contents again. I uploaded a info.php page to test the working. It is working fine without any problems. I am attaching the screenshot of the page below for your reference. Please let me know if you have any further problems.
Thanks,
Support.
