View Full Version : Shopping Cart Question -Upgrade Ver 1.1 (with f118) To Ver1.2 (with f118)

Hi There,

In relation to previous posts (sorry for multiple posts- should have edited first and viewed :-))....

Im upgrading from Ver 1.1 with a f118 pack which includes the shopping cart

to

Ver1.2 and the release post says that the shopping cart has been upgraded and is offered as a plug in...

So....

Is the f118 upgraded with the new shopping cart and I need to download and install a upgrade version of f118

or

Do I leave the f118 plug in as is and have to get a new shopping cart plug in.

Appols...

Bit confused with what exactly I need to do on this upgrade issue...

The shopping cart plug-in is at an extra charge.

Hi Donna,

So if I am surrently using the shopping cart that came with the f118 pack and then I get the new shopping cart plugin will I have to re-enter all the data into the new plugin shopping cart or will it use the data from the original f118 shopping cart?

The new SC plug-in is completely different. I have not downloaded it yet
but I believe you will need to re-enter all data.

hi There,

Word is that IF you have the f118 plugin pack in your Delavo and you upgrade to version 1.2 of Delavo the shopping cart will upgrade automatically to the new version shopping cart so no need to buy the shopping cart as an additional plug in if you have the f118.

I did get and install the new SC.

I had a couple of shopping carts set up using the old one. While they are
still available in my Delavo, they did not update to the new shopping cart.

So, yes, you will need to reenter all data if you want to use the new sc
fornat for any existing sc.

The only thing I don't see HOW I can get update for the new shopping cart plugin. (I own F1.18)

the F1.18 package was manually crafted (that's what I was told) and delivered to my email several days after purchase.

There is no way to download it (not that I know any)

use-sell.com thank you page does not contain any download links either.

have you managed to download it somehow?

Well, I upgraded from my Fantasos 1.18 to Delavo so I was given a link to
dl the F1.18 plug-in in order to upgrade Delavo.

Since it was not a purchase but something that I git as a Fantasos owner,
I am not sure if it will work in your case or if I even can share that link.

not working for me...all I get is a big discount, not the:
"Owners of the F1.18 Package do not need to pay anything extra" as stated???

anyone in the know of how to get this fixed up please let me know (as well)

Download the f.18 package. It's one file you upload to "specfeats". It already has the latest shopping cart in it.

John already sent email how to upgrade if you were Fantasos user.

The email subject line is: DOWNLOAD DELAVO

And the body contained this text in it:

Maxthat I didn't know I was supposed to get the new shopping cart plugin for free as a 1.18 owner so I went ahead and paid for it. I've sent Ed several emails asking for the refund but no answer and no refund to date.

And still no way for me to redownload the 1.18 package either.
