Hi There,

Appols for the multiple threads on the same topic :-)

The release notification of the Delavo upgrade to ver 1.2 says upgrade delavo manually.

How do I do this please?

Will all the data I already input to Delavo ver 1.1 be saved and stored? (Roles- packages products emails etc etc etc )

Could I have a detailed and precise description of what to do please?

Many Many Many Thanks!!

Carl :-)

I also have a shopping cart question re- upgrade ...will post separately

Upgradfing manualy is very similar to install except you upload the
upgrade file insread of the install one. You upload these three files:
delavo-upgrade.cgi
delavo-install.zip
delavo-jin.par

Be sure to upload in binary, change the permisssions of the upgrade file to
755, just like you did with the install file.

Also, you will be asked for the directory that Delavo is installed in.

Hi Donna,

Thanks for the rapid reply !!! and appols for the multiple posts earlier :p

The ver 1.2 that I downloaded didnt come with a delavo-jin.par file in the downloaded folder.

Do I use the delavo-jin.par from the original version 1.1 folder that I downloaded?

What I received in the version 1.2 was:

delavo.cgi
delavo.zip

and a couple of PDF's

many thanks

Carl :-)

Hi Carl

After uploading the 2 files in binary and changing
permissions to 755 on the delavo.cgi file, type in
your address bar:

http://www.YourSite.com/delavo.cgi to upgrade.

You'll be asked if you want to upgrade or install.
Choose upgrade. You will then be asked for the
directory where you installed Delavo.

Be sure to update the templates.

Just upload the 2 files to the root of the domain, chmod 755 the cgi file, and then load the cgi file in your browser.

Will ask you if you want to update of new install.

Choose update, enter Delavo directory, and done!

Just did it on mine, and worked perfect.
