Syncing John's Little Script and the Membership in Delavo

I have a question to ask:

I installed John's little script in my remote server. The remote server's membership is created via Delavo server.

That's fine so far.

Now, when one of my user resets the password AT THE REMOTE SERVER, he uses a new password. Is that new password sent back to Delavo? Or it remains at Delavo?

If so, when I do "Check/Fix All" in the membership, will Delavo's login overwrite the Remote server's login list? Or will they sync together?

Hi Joseph,

If your JLS is linked to your Delavo and a user updates their password in JLS AND IF the password is updated in Delavo - running a check/fix should not change it back again - if JLS does not update Delavo then yes it will overwrite it - my suggestion would be to test it with a test account first.

How do I check that JLS is link? And, if not, how do I link it?

Hi Joseph,

In JLS you can specify your (Fantasos) Delavo installation for password reminders from JLS.

Delavo will not be automatically updated just by doing this - but the customer may decide to manually change their password in JLS AND Delavo.

P.S., there are a lot of possible things that the customer could do but when it comes to changing passwords at all - I personally discourage this because of all the different system that may be involved.

Hi, for the 4th box in the admin interface for JLS, I use this:
http://www.mydomain.com/directory/altauth_resetpass.php

Is that wrong? For the above it will only change the password locally is it?

If so, what's the correct URL to use?
