View Full Version : Subscriptions - Clickbank

I've been using JVM and Paypal to handle subscriptions for the past almost 2 yrs.

Enter Delavo...

I have setup Clickbank to handle a regular purchase which is then tied to a remote membership - the thank you page (in test mode) comes back to Delavo properly and shows the remote membership as Expires=Never.

I have also setup Clickbank to handle a subscription and have tied it to the remote member - the thank you page (in test mode) comes back to Delavo properly - it also shows the remote membership as Expires=Never.

This is supposed to be a monthly membership/subscription where if they cancel it on Clickbank it should terminate their access to the remote membership in Delavo.

How do I make this happen in Delavo - I've gone through the "How To Setup Memberships" manual dated 5/19/09 and there is no real explanation on how to do this.

I really need to be able to offer a subscription through Clickbank - their administered affiliate program is a must for survival in this business.

Clickbank indicates that if someone cancels their subscription, Clickbank will send me an Email - I'm hoping that this is just an additional measure and that their system also automatically talks to Delavo and cancels the subscription/membership without my manual effort.

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Mike

I am not sure that will happen in Delavo using CB.

I know if a subscription is cancelled in 2CO, admin needs to manually
delete the membership and I think it is the same for CB.

Did you check the Payment Processor manual? I don't remember if
it has anything in it about this or not.

delete the membership...Donna, does that mean I need to login into 2checkout to stop the recurring and click the red cross beside the customer at the membership page ...master/customers/memberships.html?flush to stop a 2checkout membership?

Hi Jodh

You need to manually cancel in Delavo.

The membership manual tells you how.

Donna,

Clickbank is not a valid option for a subscription payment - it's grayed out!

I've tried adding clickbank as a payment method - by itself and along with paypal and authorize dot net. The clickbank subscription option remains grayed out.

Is there some needed plugin to use clickbank subscriptions? I have the auth net plugin and it does give me the option to use that.

I also do not have an internal subscription option either like in JVM...

I would really like to have subscriptions work through Clickbank - even if I have to manually terminate those who cancel !!

Thanks,

Mike
