Hi,

This is a call for all Dutch Delavo owners.

I want to find a group of Dutch Delavo owners - or anyone else that wants to use Delavo in the Duch market place - who want to participate in the development of an Ideal plugin.

As every Dutch internet marketer knows Ideal is a must have payment processor. Have it or loose 50%+ of your potential customers it is that simple! The chances of an Ideal plugin being developped and offered in the Delavo list of plugins is virtually nill I think. So if we want something than we should take action ourselves.

I have done some homework and the best way to have an Ideal plugin is not going through the packages that ar offered by the banks but through Mollie.nl.

An account is free and they only charge a € 0,99 flat fee per transaction which is cheaper than Paypal.

I have a quote for the devopment of this plugin so anyonye who is interested, please leave a reaktion in this thread and we will see how we move from there.

Kind regards,

Theo

Hi Theo,

I would be interested in co-funding (I am not in the Dutch market - yet) this project if the plugin being developed is through John's team and especially interested if it includes resale rights too.

Hi Brian,

Hope you realize that this plugin only works for the Dutch market place. Clients must have a bank account with one of the six largest Dutch banks to be able to pay through Ideal.

The quote I have is from Matthew. I would have the plugin developped all by myself but the price is a bit stiff and the rights for the plugin remain with the Internet Company and it will appear in the general plugins list once it is finished so I am told.

The point is if I do it all by myself it will cost me more than eight times the price of one of the regular processor plugins. And my guess is that as soon as it is finished it will appear in the plugins list at the regular price. Hence I would be paying for the development for everybody else to enjoy. And I don't feel that's really fair.

On the other hand - like I said - the number of potential buyers is probably so small that I don't think this plugin will ever be made if interested parties don't take action themselves. And on the Dutch market you can't do without.

I am affraid though that interest to participate will remain very slim.

Regards,

Theo

Hi Theo,

If resale rights will not be offered then (I know from previous co-funding) a mention of the co-developers were at least mentioned.

Although I am not in the Netherlands, I do offer hosted accounts and would like to be able to offer my customers (or future customers) in NL the plugin.

If it is around eight times the current cost of an online retailer plugin then we would just need a further 6 contributors.
