I need help to get a Clickbank product approved. This is how I have setup my system:

Clickbank payment options via Delavo

Nickname (Clickbank user name)
Secret Key (As setup in Clickbank)
I've ticked (Use IPN)

The "My Products" link is a dummy page. I read a thread on this forum that a dummy page
should be setup & when approved to change the link to
http://MYWEBSITE/FOLDER/pg-feedback/return/pgt/clickbank.cgi

However, Clickbank won't approve my product. Details as follows:

Their response:

Your hoplink target URL resulted in an error message. Will customers get to your pitch page URL via your hoplink target URL?

My response:

I was advised to set-up a dummy thank you page in Clickbank and then once approved, to
change the thank you page using the return URL.

When this is done, Clickbank should talk to my Delavo ecommerce system so that customers
will be able to get to my pitch page URL successfully.

Notes via the Delavo manual:

Thank you page URL - PLEASE NOTE: The thank you URL that you will enter here is the Return URL found in the payment options: adding new record interface for Clickbank at Profile ->Payment option. You will use this same return URL for ALL products you set up in Clickbank if using Delavo.

Help via the Delavo Forum:

The above is only for the return URL - the "Hoplink target url" should now lead from your
sales page to Delavo using the link for the package order link for a package.

Sales Page -> Delavo Order Link - Delavo Order Pages -> Clickbank -> Process Payment ->
Delavo Thank You Page.

There is no "Hoplink target url" as traditionally used.

Hi Cathy,

I got your P.M. and will answer here for others to benefit too.

When I setup a clickbank product, I completely forget Delavo until a product is approved - once approved I then change it to Delavo control.

I follow Clickbank's publisher guidelines to the letter - unless your product is on the list of products that Clickbank does not allow - there is no reason they will not approve it.
