Problems Updating to Delavo 1.5

I had no problems updating to 1.4, but when updating from 1.4 to 1.5, the following occurs:

1. Automatic Update Fails: Gateway Time-out

The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

2. Manual Update: I uploaded the delavo.zip and delavo.cgi file to my directory to attempt a manual upgrade. This is what happened.

Failed to unpack delavo.zip.
The file is corrupted during upload or missing.


Keep in mind that I just upgraded to 1.4 without any problems. But with 1.5, it's another story.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Hi Andrew,

I just tested upgrades on one of my domains:

1.1 - 1.2 Manual - OK
1.2 - 1.3 Manual - OK
1.3 - 1.4 Manual - OK
1.4 - 1.5 Auto - OK

If you try now and have the same problems then it will be browser related (clear your download history) or connection related.

Thanks for the help Brian, but unfortunately, the problem persisted. At this point, I have reinstalled Delavo with 1.5 and reconnected it with my database. So far it's working.

Hi,

I had 2 install of delavo crash after install 6 automatically, both my test site and live site died after automatically updating v1.6

Even if I tried a manual update after that I was just getting database errors.

Support is looking into it for me.

They fixed one site so far and waiting to have the others fixed also.

I upgraded to 1.6 with the manual method. Auto update never really works for me.
