Non .htaccess Membership (remote / local)

Happy New Year Every body!

I recently having a problem when setting up a membership for my delavo hosted client.
They want to set up a membership.

But I just find out that .htaccess protected folder membership style is only fully supported on Apache Web server.

On non apache - such as lighthttpd web server, setting up .htaccess protected folder is a little different.

I tried to ask for help to support desk, but no progress.

So I request in the future delavo will offer membership (remote / local) with or without .htaccess (added an emmbeded script or php code to the files)
