I successfully installed the script.

When I clicked on the Login link on the success page all I get is a blank screen.

Please advise.

Thanks,

-Ron

Ron seems like you're ahead of most of us :-) You actually somehow were able to download the script in the first place :-)

Hopefully there'll be an update soon and we can sort these things out. Bound to be glitches with a new process and since it's such a big package for free, I'm willing to be stuffed around at least a bit.

Hopefully also it's not too much of a hair-tearing experience :-)

I hope not too as I am bald!

You can add me to that list too.

Wrong UN or PW...

Sounds like a glitch to me.

Hi Ron,

I have not seen this with Delavo (TM) yet but I have seen it with previous versions, basically what happened was the installation did not acually complete correctly, you may need to check your server for the requirements as out lined here:

Brian

I appreciate that Brian but it's the same type of server my Fantasos is installed on so I know it's not my server.

I'm having the same problem, blank login screen after install. I'm hosting with HostGator and I see at least one person has already managed to get it working there.

Additionally, I see this in my error log:
DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Table 'stevenh_delavo.zen_id_dbtable' doesn't exist at /home/stevenh/public_html/delavo/jin_par/II3d8be5d2988e047f93ec8ec3d3a804df.pm line 1.

I checked in PHPMyAdmin and the database table does exist. The database password should be correct since I copy/pasted it from notepad when I created the database and when I installed delavo (so no chance of a typo).

Any ideas?

Based on this error, it looks to me like the script does not have the necessary priveleges to write to the cache directory - not necessarily write permissions but ownership permissions (Apache).

Thanks Brian. Not sure if permissions/ownership would be the problem on HostGator since the way they have their servers set up everything is owned by and runs under my cPanel account rather than Apache's account (usually apache/apache or nobody/nobody on most servers). I'm trying to reinstall again from scratch right now (from a fresh download and everything, just in case the zip got corrupted in-transit somehow.. lol) and if I still have problems I'll look into permissions/ownership issues. If it still doesn't work I'll see if I can get HostGator's live support to look into it for me.
