Delavo membership site setup ok but pages not showing...

Hi there,

Ok, I have set up both local and remote memberships but when going through the link

http://my_domain_name.com/members browser to either of them I get the message...
'sorry but you are looking for something that isn't there'

What I did was...

Yes, I went through the videos/pdf...
I created the 'members' folder and added the index.html tested on my browser... obviously it was visable and ok...

I then set up (first) the local membership in Delavo with no problem
I created the product and attached the Local Membership,

I then attached this to the package.
(but didn't work) it gave me the abovementioned error


So... I setup on a different server the
remote membership (altered the image links, etc,etc., to correspond again didn't work, same thing)

Yes,I have tried changing the 'members' folder to 777... didn't work so reverted back to 755

Yes, I have looked in the delavocommunity.com for answers, but I have not found a related topic (yet)

What's inside my 'members' folder
644 permission...
.htaccess and .htpasswd (Delavo generated these)
index.html

755 permission
a couple of folders
'images' and 'product'

Could this be a server error as it shows 'sorry but you are looking for something that isn't there'

...404?


I doubt it, odd to be same error on both servers
on the local - it's Turbo
on the remote - it's Hostgator

Any ideas??? Where did this pumpkin go wrong?
Could really do with some help here... :-)

In some cases when creating the protected folder the ending slash is needed.

/members/
