Failed to open log file - permission denied?

When I try running the install.cgi file this is the error message I receive:

Failed to open log file [delavo-install.2009-05-28-0828.log]: Permission denied

I have no idea what that means or how to fix it. If anyone knows, Please advise.

Philip,

That would suggest to me that where you are running the from (directory) is not allowing the installation file to create files - you need to talk to your host about this.
