Hey folks, as you probably know, Delavo 2.0 is now live:

http://www.delavo.com

Remember, now that Delavo is a Construct Zero company, you get front line support from my team:

http://support.constructzero.com

If you have any questions, that's the place to go!

But that's not what I wanted to talk to you about ...

Right now I'm looking for all Delavo ninjas. What's that?

Well, if you have done anything cool with Delavo - especially using any of the unique features of Delavo - we want to showcase you.

I'll interview you live where you get to show on your screen what you did, and how you did it in Delavo. Then we'll make you a star and share that video with the world.

And ... there might be some sweet extras in it for you ... (like some free licensing for a while ... what will it take to get you fired up to spend an hour on the phone with me?)

If you're game, reply here!

We're just getting started, guys. Thanks to all of you who have expressed your enthusiasm and support over the last few days and weeks!

Hey Mark,

Not sure if this qualifies, but, I am running an AutoResponder company, competing with Aweber and GetResponse, and all the billing is done by Delavo.

We had a custom plugin developed especially for Delavo, which integrates with our AR application.

We did this so we could have the flexibility offered by Delavo on the payment side. Without Delavo, we would probably STILL be coding payment gateways. ;)

We also have the flexibility of all kinds of different packages being offered for the service.

The affiliate side of the AR application is also handled directly with Delavo.

Hey Mark,

That's a very awesome idea and cool offer mate :)

I'm preparing something just for that actually.

Btw, are we able to promote Delavo ourselves? I've been trying to reach my
affiliate status at delavosecure.com but it seems the affiliate program is not
yet setup... 8)

Hi Mark, John,
It should be nice top get a clarification what is going as was indicated earlier this year. Is there now an affiliate program? What happens to my purchased plugins when I upgrade? Certainly I cannot afford $497/month.To me all is very unclear and I thought we were first ones to get the news.

Hi Richelo, absolutely I'd love to learn more - and I bet we can do something cool.

For full disclosure, I hope you know that Construct Zero is the sole point of sale for Autoresponse Plus ... but I think the world is far too big to worry about friendly competition :-) Let's figure out how to make money together - and get some great integration happening between your service and ours.

Please email me at transition@delavo.com and we'll set up a time to chat.

Hey Fred,

1. Affiliate program - absolutely ... details coming soon. There is MUCH more to this than meets the eye. Stay tuned.

2. If you can't afford that please don't upgrade ... Keep the old version with all your plug ins. There will be new things in 2.0 you won't get, but how about we figure out a business plan for you that makes it so you can upgrade?

What happens to my purchased plugins when I upgrade?

This is what I would really like to know. I'm happy to start paying monthly for Delavo as I know its important to support it properly. However, I have not yet seen any info on what an upgrade will do to version 1.0 exactly. There is no way I can upgrade without knowing. Is there an email or webpage I missed about this?

Certainly I cannot afford $497/month.

Fred, where did you get this figure from? I can't find any pricing anywhere for the different levels bronze, silver, gold. Have definite prices been released?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mark,

Not sure if this would qualify. There are quite a few projects where I rely on Delavo API. My newest project uses Delavo membership, third party script (with Wishlist), API and rewards system.

The product is a combination of membership and one time products. People without memberships can purchase a training course outright for one time cost at a higher price. People with memberships will receive set amount of points every month and these points can be used to redeem any training course. They also end up saving money.

I realize this sounds very similar to what is already available in Turbo Downloads Manager but I didn't want to go that route because I want the membership area to look and behave in a certain way/progression.

All this was done super easily with Delavo. In addition, the API is used to inform members how many points they have in their account. This product is not possible without Delavo because many carts do not have the points system which is the key for this membership to work.

By the way, I am intrigued by your responses. Right now, I have F.18 plus some plugins that are in the Gold plan. From your reply, I wonder if you are saying those plugins will cease to work upon upgrade? I'm very interested to work out something so we too can afford the Gold plan.
