Upgrading to Delavo 2

I have received two(2) emails about upgrading to Delavo 2, but I have yet to see a detailed step-by-step instruction on how to proceed with the upgrade. My concerns are:

Do I sign up again at http://www.delavo.com/ and download just like I was a NEW customer(the Basic Version)?

If so, since I downloaded the Basic version where and how do I upgrade to the Silver version(as promised? I tried going to http://www.delavosecure.com/licenses/ and entering My original Delavo license info and it did NOT work.

If I enter the new Basic license info that is sent, how will the system know that I am already an existing Fantasos/Delavo customer and give me the Silver upgrade?

Too Many unanswered question!!!

I have checked and the previous licenses are available on the new license server if you are sure you have entered the correct details and it still does not login, I would suggest you contact the help desk - http://support.constructzero.com/ with as much detail as possible.

I already tried to get SUPPORT at http://support.constructzero.com/

They referred me back to this forum. They know NOTHING about Delavo or how to upgrade to Delavo 2. I suggested that they contact John or Mark and find out what is going on.

When I enter my license number at http://www.delavosecure.com/licenses/ , I get the following error: *This license is not yours

I have had NOTHING but problems upgrading since way back when we switched from Fantasos to Delavo.

Please pass this along to Ed Green or SOMEONE who knows how to fix this problem and get me the correct info so I can get this upgrade processed.

I finally was able to get my license info to work and download the update on the license site.

But, I still need someone to answer the following question:

Do I sign up again at http://www.delavo.com/ and download just like I was a NEW customer(the Basic Version)?

Also, if I need to download the BAsic package like a NEW customer, this creates a NEW license. Does this NEW license number REPLACE my existing license number? Thus becoming my NEW number?

Like I said John has left a lot of un-answered questions on this upgrade process.

Hi Harold,

No - this new license does not replace your old one it would be an additional license.

Hi Harold,

If you are now upgraded to D 2.0 - there is no reason to signup and download a new license unless you want to use the new one on another domain (along with the included plugins).

However I would suggest that you sign up anyway (gives you access to the new members area) but just don't download the package unless you want to.

I just check the comparison chart and there are a lot of plugins that
are offered in the Silver package. The one that John says that we
get as past delavo customers. But a lot of my current Delavo 1.6 plugins
and Delavo funtionality seem to only be offered in the Gold version.

Example :Coupons which I kow have in Delavo 1.6 but are only offered
in Delavo 2 Gold version...

How could I possibly use coupons if I only get access to the Dealvo 2
silver version?

Or in other words...

Why would I want to repay and pay $497 monthly to get all the features
that I already have?

Is this the case and if so why?

Hi James,

My understanding is that all of your existing plugins will continue to work EXCEPT for Roles and Resellers.

The subscriptions are for the delivery of new plugins to be released which will only work with Delavo 2.0
