Hi John,
I have suggestion about a new plugins for multiple currency that already exist in DELAVO.
I think this plugins will be very practical for old and new version of DELAVO. As we know, DELAVO support multiple currency of various country.
Before DELAVO v2.0 launch, which we know that 'Roles' option and functionality are not available in DELAVO v2.0, we can create another account with all privilage as 'site administrator' have.
So by doing this, the site administrator can include at least two currency at the same time on the minisite he sell. The purpose is if we use only 1 account, we only can accept 1 type of currency.
In 1 account, when we set the price in USD (as for example), the value of local currency after currency convert will have possiblity not to be exact price as we set for local currency.
I have also post the senario below at Turbocommunity forum. Maybe you can consider this new feature as a new plugins or perhaps as extended for current currency setting in merchant setting.
I think new feature will be a value added to DELAVO which DELAVO represent a CENTRALIZATION concept you have create.
Thank John.
Question about DELAVO v2.0 system currency!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi John,
I have question about system currency in DELAVO v2.0.
By Default, the currency setting at DELAVO v2.0 are in USD.
For your information, I live at Malaysia which my currency is Malaysian Ringgits (MYR).
As the purpose of DELAVO is for Centralization, I'm thinking to use one DELAVO for international and local(Malaysia).
So, my question is, while I had set the currency to USD for the purpose of selling to international, how I at the same time, use my DELAVO to sell using currency of Malaysian Ringgits (MYR)? Is it possible to do this?
Or if it can't be done for know, thus it mean I need to have two DELAVO installation at two different domain and server, in order to set two different currency?
Hope you can help me explain this matter, John.
Thanks
Syed Fareed
