I installed the CRON to run hourly as instructed in Profile/System Settings. Now I am getting an emailed error message every hour stating:

--18:00:01-- http://soraminfosystems.com/delavo/action/Jin/Cron/do.cgi?verbose=0
=> `-'
Resolving soraminfosystems.com... ###.##.##.##
Connecting to soraminfosystems.com|###.##.##.##|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: unspecified [text/plain]
INVALID SIGNATURE. CRON WAS NOT STARTED

0K 2.54 MB/s

18:00:03 (2.54 MB/s) - `-' saved [40]

I emailed my Host4Profit ADMIN and they said the CRON was setup properly and asked, "Where did you get the signature setting from? From within the script admin area? I did check your cron event, and the way it is setup is correct, it is properly attempting to access the URL."

Apparently, I have an invalid signature. Can anyone help me with this?

Ross

Hi Ross,

First can I suggest you edit aand remove any sensitive details from you post such as i.p. addresses - feel free to P.M. me if you need to pass sensitive info.

Did you by any chance change your Delavo admin login details since setting up the CRON - if so you will have a different signature and will have to copy and paste the new signature each time you change these details.

Thanks Brian,

Sorry, I didn't realize I posted sensitive information (I edited out the IPs). My Host4Profit uses WEBePanel which uses "MySQL Database Manager". When I installed DELAVO, I just added a new database and pointed DELAVO there. DELAVO's login credentials are different than MySQL's which was set up years ago. Do they need to be the same?

DELAVO installed just fine, lets me login, and told me what CRON to use based on its own install. No logins or passwords were changed in either DELAVO or MySQL since the install. Am I missing something?

Hmm - usually the only thing that affects the CRON is what I stated - it does not matter if the Delavo and mySQL credentials are different.

The only other thing I can suggest is checking your CRON to make sure there are no spaces at the end of the line - failing that I can login and have a look if you PM me with your control panel details and Delavo Admin details.
