View Full Version : 500 Internal Server Error

I have installed Delavo per the instructions at http:// (http://http://), but I am getting a 500 Internal Server Error.

Any one else ran into this and know of a fix?

Hi Keith

I don't get that error it works, just activate the DELAVO template to
replaced the generic one.

Keith, who is your web host? Without more specific info I can only guess (a 500 error could literally be anything on the server end.. lol), but try checking your permissions. Make sure your jin.cgi file is set to 755, it won't run with anything less than that, and on many servers it also won't run with anything higher than that.

Well, I finally figured it out. I was having some issues with my VPS last night so I switched everything over to my backup shared host, Host Monster. Then early this morning, I was notified that the techs had fixed my issue on my VPS, so I switched everything back to the VPS. And I guess, it hadn't propagated completely back to the VPS, so after I cleared my cookies and browser cache, it all works as it should now. Boy, do I feel stupid... :-[
