Default The news is still fresh and incomplete.

The news is still fresh and incomplete.
But the first whiff - don't smell so nice.

So far the forum weather is hot to the negative.

I've heard about MJ's farewell but the big COMEBACK is somewhat
being felt here. Among other alliances I see as a big MJ acquisition drive.

Industries sometimes beg for consolidation. And need an MJ to act.

I feel MJ could only have made an 'unrefusable' (shall I say - irresistible)
offer.

And who can judge you if you decide to take it. Hey, bizniz is bizniz.

I'm clearly in suspence of what's to come.

Hi people

Every change in the software that started as JVManager was
accompanied by various feelings - both negative and
positive ones.

Every change ended up to a better software and all people
became happy again.

Isn't this what counts - eventually?

On the changes now:

What does really matter for you?

The money you make now? OR the money you CAN make?

People that enter the IM realm tend to believe that "it's
not possible" to make money online. After some efforts and
years, they realize that everything is possible: Once you
IMAGINE it, BELIEVE in it and keep thinking POSITIVE.

I'd suggest everybody to participate in a positive way to a
conversation that will direct us all to a win-win scenario.

In all cases YOUR benefit is to have a development and
support team that will SUPPORT YOUR DREAMS.

That is my personal target too.

More soon,

John Delavera

p.s. Yes, posts are now moderated in the forum.
Its purpose and the reason of existence is to safeguard
DELAVO and adds to it. That should be our common
characteristic here. Time will show anyway - as always.

Talking Taking Delavo to the Next Level – Would You Like to Come Along for the Ride?

Hey guys, I think I’d jump in here and post something about the move.

I rarely post in bulletin boards, so please forgive me in advance if I don’t jump in and reply to everyone. As you can imagine I’m quite busy working with John to take Delavo to the next level.

First, before anyone jumps on John about deleting the flames - don't jump on him - jump on me. I recommended we do that and also start moderating the board. Flames and angry posts just don't help to move the conversation constructively forward. They never have - they never will.

I don't know about you, but personally if I go to a bulletin board I don't want to have my mood taken down.

No offense to anyone ... Hey, let's discuss the issues you have offline - we'll get it worked out - we don't need to flame John in the process. This guy has worked his butt off for all of us.

On that note, I want to remind everyone of the concept of “the frame.” We can frame this event in any way we like. We could probably come up with equally cogent-sounding explanations for this event arguing either way: good move – bad move. Might I suggest we interpret the event in a way that empowers all of us rather than disempowers all of us?

All I can do is give my transparent thought process … And I can also say this: John is a fantastic human being with a great heart and great intentions. If he wasn’t I wouldn’t be doing this deal with him. Every step of the way John has kept the best interest of you, the customers, in mind. In fact we talked for hours over various aspects to make sure everyone would be given a fair shake – and more.

That’s the John Delavera I know – and it’s the John Delavera you all know as well. This guy has put many many sleepless nights into taking care of customers and improving his "baby" - what has evolved into Delavo and will now evolve even more. Keep that in mind as you read.

Also, remember this is a conversation – our plan here is to come up with a solution that:

a. Takes Delavo to the next level (it sure deserves it)
b. Takes care of everyone – and beyond (there is a great road ahead here where we can all profit)
c. Leaves no one “in the lurch” – period

So, what are we all trying to accomplish here?

Seriously – let’s all consider that.

Isn’t it to make a profit?

You want to use Delavo to make a profit for your business. Delavo as a product is in business to make profit too. (Hey, go figure ;-)

If we’re not all unabashed capitalists, what are we doing here?

So, how is capital created? It’s by creating value – and putting that value out on the market with an economic model that makes sense.

There was a flaw in the economic model of Delavo.

See, a massive body of code like this requires a Herculean amount of effort to maintain. It needs to evolve and it needs to adapt. It also needs to support its customers.

Selling it as buy-once solution doesn’t pay respect to the complexity of the project – and it doesn’t create an economic model that can support the evolution of it - or the customers who use it. You want better support? You want more upgrades? Well, we don't have a team of Delavo-elves on hand that work for free ;-)

If a company doesn’t make a decision like this based on what will be a sustainable business proposition, it will go the way of most companies (footnotes in history books – if even that).

That’s the reality, guys.

Look at the graveyard of businesses and you’ll see oh so many that were built around business models that were based on hope rather than economic reality.

Making it a subscription product allows the code to be maintained properly – and greatly improved as you’ll see.

Delavo is amazingly great software. As far as I'm concerned nothing even comes close. We're finally going to evolve it into what it deserves to be. Please keep in mind that this is the first time Construct Zero has made a public move like this to partner with a software solution created outside of our team (aside from ARP - which is another interesting story you'll see soon). We developed an in-house solution for our own needs that was similar to Delavo. Delavo was BETTER. That should say something.

In fact, we're migrating our entire operation to the new Delavo. We do a tremendous volume of traffic and sales. We're entrusting all of that to this new platform. Translation: we have a vested interest on many levels to ensure this platform is stable and great. John's team can now focus on doing just that.

Now, pretty soon we’ll be revealing exactly what the plans are – and what the opportunities are for you.

In the meantime, I’d like to suggest the following:

1. If you have a concern with this – contact us directly transition@delavo.com … we’ll work it out. John is an exceptionally reasonable guy who has your best interests in mind.

2. Let’s keep this thread positive. We can talk ourselves into success or failure with how we react to events. That’s a choice we make every moment. I know the choice I want to make every day. Are you with me?

I mean, is it really necessary to flame John without even writing directly and discussing options?

Guys, you may not realize it, but as the early users of this software you have some huge opportunities ahead of you. My plan is to allow a large number of people to prosper greatly right alongside John with this new phase. If you want to be one of them, that opportunity is most definitely there.

Arrow Mark's Insight ...

Mark,

Thank you for your insight.

I'm willing to guess we're all capitalists here and understand quite vigorously
what's the viability of a system and what needs to be done the be kept alive.

Of course, I've been following this thread and event very closely since this
morning and saw and read all the concerns. You seems to present an open
mind in regards to those who are here and spent much time and money for
this system, plus planned way ahead on the functions of a platform that was
presented, available and bought by them.

Of course all that is being said here by John and you sounds very positive, so
let's just hope that one can keep the privileges one bought and won with
one's efforts and hard earned money in a FAIR manner while not necessarely
interfering with your plans.

Thanks a bunch.

Hey Andre, totally appreciate that.

Exactly - the idea here is that not only will the existing customers be taken care of (erring totally on the side of generosity), but we'll be creating opportunities for them as well.

For Delavo power users, there will be some great opportunities here to offer a new form Ambassadorship to new customers. (Maybe we'll call them Delavo Angels? :-)

For people who want to sell Delavo, there is going to be not only a very generous affiliate opportunity, but also an opportunity to be a certified hosting provider.

And that's just the beginning.

There's a way to transition everyone into a much more profitable future here.

John and I talked about this at length when we met and we knew: this ain't gonna be easy, but we're going to stand up right beside each customer and make sure they are transitioned into something with a much brighter future.

MJ

Any timeline on when your plans will be detailed out?
Especially for power users?

That would somewhat put our minds at ease and decide whether to stay with the current version without support or go to 2.0.

Thanks

Hey Yuzairy,

We're targeting around 21 January ... We're moving as quickly as we can ...

Guys: please do not worry about anything. We're not going to put anyone in an unfair situation. If we need to transition you in any way, it will be done gracefully and fairly - and with great sensitivity toward your situation, what you paid for, and so on ...

Past users are going to be treated with extreme generosity.

MJ

Default Delavo 2.0

Hi John,

I just want to let you and everyone know that I have never had a lack of vision. Quite contrary.

I have always had long and far reaching vision. Until I found John or should I say until John found me, my vision(s) was about all I had.

My mind and ideas were always so far ahead of my actions and accomplishments that I continued to dream new and greater visions without much to show for it because I could never really completely materialize anything without the newer visions getting in the way.

Sure I had a small list and made a sale or two here and there, but I never really had a solid foundation for the business that I wanted to create.

After studying what I can from John I have learned many useful technics, tricks of the trade, how to be the rapid bunny, and much much more. I've learned the most useful philosophy I believe in business to be centralization.

Centralization gets me so excited that sometimes I loose focus on everything else...

does that make sense?

The all out most important thing I have learned from John is to trust what he says. Period.

I don't mean to just blindly trust as if he were God. What I mean is to trust with confidence.

Why?

Because John has proven over and over that he has our best interest at heart and he always delivers more than he promises.

I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to converse privately with John. When I write to John I always sign off with: "Your friend and fan" before I sign my name.

I do that because I am a fan. Fan, as we all know is short for fanatic. So I am a John Delavera "fanatic". But above that I am a friend to John. John is a friend to me. We have a business relationship as well as a personal friendship.

Both of which are built on TRUST!

Your friend and fan,
Scott

Default The Rider And The Horse

Who is in control the rider or the horse?

The horse is of course.

The rider is not in control until it trains the horse.

The rider is the conscious. The horse is the subconscious.

It looks as if some riders don't control the horse.

Emotions need to be trained just as the horse does.

A response is needed not a reaction.

If the doctor said your body responded to the medication this is great.

If the doctor said your body reacted to the medication this is not good.

Looking forward to being a Delavo Angel

Mike

Default Great Insight from Mark

Hi Mark

Surprisingly it's my first time to talk online with you here regarding DELAVO

My main concern is this:
As a DELAVO avid user once we made decision to stay with the current version do we get future updates of bugs and so forth ?

if we move to DELAVO 2.0 with paid subscription what do we get other than the license to use DELAVO 2.0, I have followed the journey of JV Manager to Fantasos to DELAVO and surely DELAVO 2.0 seems like a surprise to my view.

I am sure that John will work out something better for all of us he always think of the best of it. Just a lot of concern with how basic things work in DELAVO like reseller and role (this is really core feature that I used day to day)

Can't wait to see what is the real strong point of DELAVO 2.0
